Charitable Donations
Since February 2011, the City of Austin passed an ordinance that made Austin a no-kill city. Four years going strong, and Austin has become one of the biggest, if not the largest no-kill city in the United States. This gave many non-profit organizations many opportunies to save each cat and dog in Austin. Some provide shelter and some provide low-cost to free veterinary care. Due to the large number of pets in needs, there are numerous organizations to make sure each pet is accountable.
